A reservation of
one book can be made with the librarian

A borrowed book cannot
be lent to another person

All borrowed books can
be renewed once for one more week after they have been presented at the
library.

Books can be borrowed
only for maximum period of 2 weeks

Books will be issued
only after a record has been made in the register by the librarian

The books will have to
be returned by making a note in the register by the librarian

Books will be issued
to the students, during the library periods. No book will be issued or returned
during the teaching hours
Overdue Books
Students and Staff and the class teachers of
the respective students will be reminded of their overdue books. The borrower
will be charged a fine of 10 rupees per day as an overdue fine. If this is a
constant problem, they will not be allowed to check out books. Books can be
renewed to avoid an overdue problem.
Lost books
The library should be notified immediately if
a book is lost. A charge of the replacement cost will be twice the MRP or the price specified by the library. If the book is found the money will be
refunded.
Damaged books
The books will have to be checked for the
condition before issue and note has to be made by the librarian. Any new damage
to the books or material if noticed while returning will demand a fine. The
repair or replacement cost will be charged from the borrower.
No more books will be issued until the fine /
fee has been paid
