Book review is not essentially the summary of the book. It is the critical analysis and evaluation of the story.There is no right way to write a book review. It reflects the reaction of the reader on reading the book. It could be short as with 50 to 100 words or could be very detailed with more that 1500 words.
The following format could be used for a simple review from the students :

- Write the story of the book without giving away the ending
- what was the story /book about?
- who were the main characters?what did they do? did they run into any trouble
- who were your favourite charcater and why? could you relate to any of the character in the story?
- did you like the book ? your favourite part of the book?
- would you like to change anything about the story? how will you give a different ending to the story?
- would you rcommend this to your friends and why?
- what kind of people would like to read this book?
- what VALUE did you learn by reading the books?
